Dry Hire
Dry hire starts from the morning of the first day of hire until 10 AM on the final day of hire. For example; 1 day hire on a Tuesday would run from Tuesday morning until 10 AM Wednesday, weekend hire runs from Friday AM until 10 AM Monday morning.
Photographic ID and proof of address will be required.
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that any equipment hired from JEF has adequate insurance for the full length of the hire. Loss or damage caused through negligence on the part of the hirer will be charged accordingly.
Hire with engineers
When engineers are supplied with equipment JEF will insure all equipment supplied. Engineers and crew also have £5 million public liability insurance.
Safety of both the public and our crew are of paramount importance to JEF, should we arrive at a venue and deem it to be unsafe then we will refuse to continue with the hire. In the event of a cancelation due to poor safety then the hirer will still be responsible for the full cost of the hire. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the venue is safe. This includes electrical, structural, and fire safety.
Payment
Payment will be made in cash at the start of the hire, a full invoice will be issued at this time. In some cases payment may be made within 30 days of the hire, this must arraigned at the time of hire and will be subject to relevant credit checks.
Copyright Material
JEF supply the means to reproduce sound and vision, it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all relevant licenses are in place for the duration of the hire with regards to copyrighted material including (but not exclusively); digital images, music and video playback.
